Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Fabree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Dalbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fabree's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Flo Rida - Good Feeling. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dexter Fabree!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Dalbert!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalbert looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fabree lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Fabree shoots in and gets a takedown into Dalbert's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Dalbert looking for a sweep. Not yet Dalbert, not yet.

Fabree drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dalbert looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dalbert looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dalbert!

Dalbert wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fabree, who protects the arm well.
Fabree is trying to improve his position.
Dalbert is looking to take a break and control but Fabree is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Fabree manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Fabree is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dalbert's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dalbert's back!
I really don't envy Dalbert right now.

Fabree working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dalbert doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dalbert manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fabree has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dalbert is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fabree.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dalbert fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dalbert tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fabree swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dalbert shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fabree sprawls well. Fabree wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dalbert gets slowly back to his feet.

Dexter Fabree overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fabree accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dalbert should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Fabree throws an elbow that misses. Dalbert uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fabree's guard. Nice move by Dalbert!

Fabree on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fabree tries to get out of the position.

Fabree has his foot on Dalbert's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dalbert works his way back into a safe position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dexter Fabree.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fabree, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
