The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lay fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Crawford sprawls well initially but Lay persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Crawford looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lay uses his free foot to push down on Crawford's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Crawford.
Crawford really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Lay! Crawford is out cold! This one is all over!
