Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Justin Bullard!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hioki closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bullard circles away.
Bullard connects with a crisp jab.
A cross from Bullard lands.
Bullard lands with a shot to the body.
Bullard tests Hioki's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hioki shoots in and drives through. Bullard sprawls well.
Hioki throws a series of punches but Bullard moves out of range.
Hioki darts in trying to clinch
and Bullard connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hioki walks into a straight right hand from Bullard.
Hioki moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hioki fails with the takedown
letting Bullard counter with a right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hatsu Hioki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hioki has his takedown stuffed
and Bullard counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hioki tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bullard swivels and escapes.
Bullard closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Hioki is rocked!
Hioki takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Oh Hioki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hioki misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hioki is breathing heavily.
Hioki doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bullard counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Hioki walks into a straight right hand from Bullard.
Bullard connects with a body shot.

Bullard throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hioki stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
and Bullard counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Hioki! He's just covering up as Bullard starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Justin Bullard!
