The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain slips a jab and a cross from Swagger.
Pain looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Pain swats away the attempt to clinch by Swagger.
Pain tries to clinch but Swagger moves away
and Swagger counters by clinching up.
Swagger is leaning against Pain and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Swagger breaks from the clinch.
Pain gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Swagger makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Pain really felt that one!

Pain is looking to control Swagger's arms but Swagger gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pain has his back to the cage.

and Pain counters with a shoot takedown. Swagger fights it but they end up in guard.

Swagger manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pain manages to get himself to full guard.

Swagger keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Darren Swagger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Pain.

Pain wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Swagger has him pressed against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Darren Swagger will probably get the nod.
That's time! Swagger's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Swagger misses with a body kick.
Swagger moves in looking to clinch but Pain pushes him off.
Swagger connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Pain is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Swagger.
Pain is rocked!
It looks like Rob Pain has been cut.
Swagger connects with a stiff jab that staggers Pain - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
