Penna has chosen APOCALYPSE NOW as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holliday throws a right hand that Penna ducks under and follows up with a left that Penna also avoids with ease.
Penna lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Holliday throws a series of punches but Penna moves out of range.
Penna tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Holliday swivels and escapes.

Holliday keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Penna tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Holliday manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Holliday throws a right and a left that both miss.
Penna's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Holliday connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Penna scrambles back to his feet.

Penna connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Holliday throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Horrible takedown by Penna or perhaps it was just good defense by Holliday which made him look bad.
Holliday misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Holliday stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Holliday throws an overhand right that lands on Penna's shoulder, as Penna tries to avoid the shot.

and Penna counters with a single leg into guard. Holliday didn't expect that.
Penna working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Holliday's head.
Penna throws a big elbow that misses.
Penna sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Holliday's guard.
Holliday looks like he's trying to stand up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Penna is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Penna is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Holliday defends it well.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Penna is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Holliday is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
