Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Claude Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aku Desirkui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Desirkui has chosen Maybe Its Just Me as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Desirkui closes the distance and pushes Hall back into the cage.
Desirkui with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Hall throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Hall lands an elbow inside that Desirkui shrugs off.

It looks like Aku Desirkui has been cut.
Hall misses with an elbow over the top.
Hall lands a damaging elbow.
Desirkui stalling in the clinch.
Hall pushes off an throws an elbow but Desirkui leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Desirkui is looking to take this one to the mat.
Desirkui is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
With the fighters up against the cage, Hall throws an elbow but misses.

Hall is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Desirkui is defending well for now.

Claude Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aku Desirkui.

A nice right hand lands inside from Desirkui.
Hall misses with an elbow over the top.
Hall lands an elbow that stopped Desirkui in his tracks for a moment.
Hall pushes off an throws an elbow but Desirkui leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Desirkui turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Desirkui manages to end up in side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Hall parries the strikes from Desirkui easily there. Desirkui is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hall to escape.
Hall takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Hall might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Desirkui cracks Hall with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Desirkui immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Hall is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Desirkui!

Aku Desirkui tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
