Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mason Terell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and R J MacReady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacReady takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Terell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by MacReady.
Terell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but MacReady moves away.
Terell scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

The fighters circle momentarily. Terell darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Terell seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
MacReady is trying to stand up here but Terell is controlling him well.

MacReady suckers Terell into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! MacReady is now in Terell's guard!

Terell throws a nice looking combination but MacReady bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

MacReady takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A clash of legs there as Terell blocks the low kick.
MacReady throws a sloppy head kick and Terell moves out of range easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Terell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
R J MacReady seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
MacReady stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and MacReady wants it to stay on the feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
MacReady misses with a two punch combination.
Terell misses with a hook. MacReady ducked under it nicely.

Terell is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
MacReady ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Terell moves away.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Terell throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. MacReady was covering up waiting for the punch and Terell finishes the takedown easily into guard.
