Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klein East (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aj Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). East comes to the cage accompanied by Cold as Ice- M.O.P.. Styles has chosen I Am by Dale Oliver as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Klein East!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Aj Styles!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styles on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by East. East obviously looking to wear him down.
Styles moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Horrible takedown by Styles or perhaps it was just good defense by East which made him look bad.
Styles works East's body with a nice hook.
East misses with a low kick.
Styles shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. East defends it nicely.
East darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
East pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

East lands a nice hook to Styles's body. Styles takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Styles on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
No luck for Styles with that takedown attempt.
Klein East has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aj Styles.
East tries a low kick but Styles avoids it.

East slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

East scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
East digs a good body shot into Styles's ribs.
East throws out a leg kick but Styles moves out of range and East only half commits.

East is looking to wear down Styles with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Styles tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but East swivels and escapes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
East fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Styles has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Styles throws a sloppy head kick
and East counters with an inside leg kick.
Styles on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
East tries to score with a low kick but Styles moves his leg out of the way.
East connects with a jab.
East throws a shot to the body.
Styles has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from East finds it's way round the side to connect with Styles's head.
East tries to land a front kick but Styles steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
East is looking to slow Styles down with leg kicks.
East lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Styles is breathing heavily.
East feints and then cracks Styles's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Styles down.

Styles tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and East counters with a good low kick that Styles was not able to check.

East shoots in and bounces Styles off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

East wants to control from the top but Styles keeps moving.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Klein East wasn't doing enough on the ground.
East misses with a body kick.
Styles tries to score a power double leg takedown but East sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Styles somewhat.
East is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Styles can do to turn this around?

Styles's jab looks to have found its range, popping East under the eye.
East swings widly with a right hand
and Styles counters with a right hand to the body.
East just misses with a punch to the body.
East scores with a nice strike.

Styles shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Styles showed some decent athleticism there.
East trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Styles manages to pass to mount!

East is trying desperately to improve position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! East's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Styles is looking to clinch.
Klein East seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Styles swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
East scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
East keeps the fight on the outside.

and Styles counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in East's guard now.
Styles working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Stylesis looking to pass into half guard but East pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now East is in guard.
East loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Styles wants to stand up but East is controlling him.
Styles not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Klein East overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
East trying to control but Styles is working from the bottom.
East is pushing down on Styles's leg trying to pass to half guard. Styles is fighting to maintain full guard but East has managed to sneak the leg through.

Aj Styles has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Styles wants to control but East is keeping busy.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

East seems to be working for a kimura but Styles defends the submission attempt.
Styles is staying active underneath East, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
East misses with a low kick.
East scores with a jab to the body.
East shoots in looking for a takedown. Styles tries to sprawl out of it but East keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Styles manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Klein East is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Some bone on bone action there as East checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Klein East is winning the standup battle so far.
Styles tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
East tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Styles was well out of range. Poor timing from East.

East closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

East is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Styles knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Well East has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
