Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sapp misses with a takedown attempt - Souza sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Souza shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sapp manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Sapp working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Souza doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Souza manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Sapp bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Sapp thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Sapp seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Souza has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Sapp. Oh but Souza has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Sapp goes limp - he's gone! Souza jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
