Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mini Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernard Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombard fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cooper.
Lombard lands a lovely overhand right.
Lombard throws the kick towards the body but Cooper avoids it.
Cooper throws a body kick the misses
and Lombard counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
A right-left combo lands from Lombard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cooper throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cooper throws a push kick but Lombard slaps the foot to one side.
Lombard has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cooper.
Cooper throws a body kick that misses.
Lombard takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Cooper throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Lombard.

It looks like Bernard Lombard has been cut.
Lombard misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lombard lands a slapping body shot.
Lombard misses with a double jab.
Lombard lands a nice looking body shot.
Lombard misses with the combination.
Cooper misses with an attempted mid kick.
Lombard checks the leg kick nicely there.
Lombard turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Cooper pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lombard tries a head kick but it misses.

Lombard tries to score with a low kick but Cooper moves his leg out of the way.
Cooper looks for the body kick but Lombard saw that one coming.
Cooper throws a push kick but Lombard slaps the foot to one side.
Cooper explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Lombard lands a nice shot to the body.
Lombard lands a jab to the nose.
Lombard scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cooper throws the kick towards the body but Lombard avoids it.

and Lombard makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Cooper really felt that one!
Cooper is breathing heavily.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lombard. That's going to slow Cooper down.

and Lombard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Cooper is rocked!
Cooper loses concentration momentarily and Lombard pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Cooper crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Lombard finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

After winning the bout, Bernard Lombard thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
