Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ayumu Hirohito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwight Demaine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hirohito's entrance music is The Vapors - I think I'm turning Japanese. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hirohito tries a head kick but it misses.
Demaine uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hirohito.
Dwight Demaine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hirohito throws a big shot that misses.
Hirohito doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Demaine throws a lazy head kick
and Hirohito makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Demaine looks gassed!
Hirohito throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hirohito throws a head kick but Demaine moves out of range.
Hirohito swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Demaine counters with a stiff right hand.
Demaine misses with a straight right.
Hirohito throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hirohito misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

It looks like Dwight Demaine has been cut.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hirohito.

Hirohito throws out a head kick that Demaine doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Demaine crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Demaine's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hirohito looks low and kicks high, catching Demaine right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!
Demaine takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Hirohito throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Demaine is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the ropes! Wow!
