And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tam looks to land a left hand but Praca moved out of range nicely.
Praca dives in and grabs Tam's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tam pushes down on Praca's head and hops out.
Praca looking to score a takedown here. Tam is defending well but Praca drives through and ends up in Tam's guard.
Tam wants to get back to his feet but Praca is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tam can do anything to dispel that myth.

Tam comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Praca is breathing heavily.

Tam misses with the combination.

Tam misses with an uppercut. Praca saw that one coming.
Tam scores with a hook to the body. Praca takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Tam scores with a shot to the body.
Oooooh!!! Tam has knocked Praca down with a huge combo! Tam steps away and waves a wobbly Praca back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Haroldo Praca has been cut.
Praca uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tam.
Tam connects with a nice cross there... Praca is looking wobbly and Tam recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Praca to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Tam jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). River Tam!
After winning the bout, River Tam thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
