Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocco Urso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urso comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Big Ten Inch kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rocco Urso has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Urso feints and as Steel raises his hands in defense, Urso changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Steel looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Steel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Urso manages to get himself to full guard.

Urso has closed the distance and engaged Steel in a clinch.

It looks like Rocco Urso has been cut.

Urso decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Urso is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Steel defends it well.

Urso is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Steel is just riding it out for now. Urso eventually gives up the hold.
Steel wants to control but Urso is keeping busy.
Steel seems to have got his legs back now.

Urso works his way into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Urso has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Urso throws a sloppy head kick and Steel moves out of range easily.
Steel looks to land a body kick but Urso moved away.
Urso avoids the body shot from Steel.
Steel throws a right hand that Urso ducks under and follows up with a left that Urso also avoids with ease.

Urso throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Urso throws a sloppy head kick and Steel moves out of range easily.

Steel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Urso looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Steel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Urso moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Urso takes one on the button.

Urso shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Steel thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Steel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Urso doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Urso manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Steel looking to hit a scissor sweep but Urso is one step ahead there.

Urso is pushing down on Steel's leg trying to pass to half guard. Steel is fighting to maintain full guard but Urso has managed to sneak the leg through.
Urso frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Steel is desperately trying to improve his position but Urso has a good base and remains in mount.

Urso goes for an armbar but Steel turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Steel.

Urso had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Steel is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Urso Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Steel's back instead.
Steel manages to reverse the position and now he's in Urso's guard. Nice work there by Steel.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Steel avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Urso looking to hit a scissor sweep but Steel is one step ahead there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Steel stalks Urso and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Urso's face. Urso staggers backwards, shaken.

Urso steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Steel.
Scott Steel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Steel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Both fighters circling a little - Urso finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Urso connects with a high kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Whack! Urso lands a heavy head kick that drops Steel. The ref tackles Urso to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Steel was done.
