Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ingolfur Arnarson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cabbage Patched (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arnarson's entrance music is Led Zeppelin - Immigrant Song. A fine choice. Ingolfur Arnarson had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Arnarson.
Arnarson misses with an uppercut. Patched saw that one coming.
Patched staying out of range there.
Arnarson avoids the body shot from Patched.
Patched ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Arnarson moves away.
Patched buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Patched wants to slow Arnarson down by chopping away at his legs.
Patched moves away from the strike by Arnarson.
Patched throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Nice takedown defense from Arnarson. No joy for Patched on that attempt.
Patched throws a series of punches but Arnarson moves out of range.

Patched on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

It looks like Cabbage Patched has been cut.
Patched throws a head kick but Arnarson moves out of range.

Patched throws a leg kick but Arnarson sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Patched. Those never looked like landing.
A clash of legs there as Arnarson blocks the low kick.
Arnarson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Arnarson missing with a left hand there. Patched was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A nice inside leg kick there by Arnarson. That's going to slow Patched down.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That has opened up Cabbage Patched's cut even more.
Patched chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Arnarson can pounce on him.
Arnarson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Arnarson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Patched was well out of range. Poor timing from Arnarson.
Patched does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Arnarson missing with a left hand there. Patched was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Patched displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Arnarson throws out the jab.
Cabbage Patched seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Patched.
Arnarson misses with a straight left.
Patched misses with a shot to the body
and Arnarson counters with a nice body shot.
Patched avoids the body shot from Arnarson.
Nice sprawl there from Arnarson as Patched shoots in.
Ingolfur Arnarson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cabbage Patched.
Arnarson keeps Patched at a distance using the push kick.
Good exchange - Arnarson coming out on top.

The cut above Cabbage Patched's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Arnarson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Patched shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Cabbage Patched's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Cabbage Patched's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After winning the bout, Ingolfur Arnarson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
