Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hot Rod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emmanuel Yarborough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yarborough throws a jab but it's blocked by Rod.
Rod uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Yarborough.

Rod moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Rod throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Yarborough sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Rod tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Yarborough was well out of range. Poor timing from Rod.

Hot Rod seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rod ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Rod fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Yarborough looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Yarborough is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Donk. Rod catches Yarborough right on the button with a cross.
Rod connects with a nice looking jab.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Rod has cracked Yarborough with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Rod lands another huge swinging hook and Yarborough tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Yarborough, before Rod can land any more shots!
