Rite tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Koussa paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Koussa throws a series of punches but Rite avoids them all with ease.
Koussa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Koussa misses with a series of wild punches.
Rite rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Koussa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Rite counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Rite feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Koussa sprawling to the canvas! Koussa rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rite finish him?!
Rite is looking to clinch.

Rite avoids a punch combination nicely.
Koussa throws a series of punches but Rite moves out of range.
Koussa seems to have recovered his senses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rite clobbers Koussa with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
That has opened up Moussa Koussa's cut even more.
Rite drops Koussa with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Koussa looks back up at him and smiles so Rite waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Koussa misses with a series of wild punches.

and Rite counters with a huge left! Koussa is in big trouble! He's backing up but Rite isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Koussa from any more damage. A dominating finish by Rite!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Auu Rite!
