Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruslan Romanenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanenko is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Carwin.

It looks like Ruslan Romanenko has been cut.
Carwin misses with a looping right.
Carwin connects with the punch.
Romanenko closes the distance and clinches up with Carwin, looking for a takedown. Romanenko pushes Carwin against the cage but Carwin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Carwin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Romanenko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carwin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Romanenko somewhat.
Romanenko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Carwin lands a nice shot that snaps Romanenko's head back.

Romanenko shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Carwin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Romanenko stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Carwin lands a head shot.
Carwin stuns Romanenko with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Chris Carwin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Carwin scores with a sloppy right hand. Romanenko should have avoided that one.
Carwin jabs Romanenko to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Romanenko is trying desperately to land a takedown but Carwin is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Romanenko.

and Carwin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carwin steps in with a hook that catches Romanenko right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Carwin follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Romanenko looks absolutely devastated.
