Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Texas Trash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Castaneda Krishnanuevo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krishnanuevo has chosen Guru Josh Project - Infinity 2008 as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Texas Trash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Castaneda Krishnanuevo!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Trash misses.
Trash looks to score with a jab to the body but Krishnanuevo is just out of range.
Krishnanuevo takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Krishnanuevo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Trash misses the shot to the body.
Krishnanuevo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Trash circles away.
Trash changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Texas Trash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trash lands a jab-cross combination.
Krishnanuevo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Trash counters with a straight right hand.
The fighters circling - Trash throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Texas Trash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Castaneda Krishnanuevo.

Trash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krishnanuevo on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Krishnanuevo tries to improve position but can't.
Krishnanuevo is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Trash off and has taken his back!

Krishnanuevo is working the ground and pound. Can Trash escape?
Well, with Krishnanuevo on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Trash is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Even with his hooks in, Krishnanuevo manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Krishnanuevo lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Trash.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You can see the frustration on Trash's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Trash is breathing heavily.
Trash grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

Can Trash hold on?! Krishnanuevo is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Krishnanuevo is punishing Trash with some ground and pound.
Krishnanuevo lands a shot to the head.
Trash finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Castaneda Krishnanuevo dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


A combination from Trash does no damage.

Nice uppercut there from Trash.
Krishnanuevo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Trash sprawls well. Trash wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Krishnanuevo gets slowly back to his feet.

Krishnanuevo passes Trash's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Krishnanuevo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Trash's head.
Trash on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Trash tries to get out of the position.

Krishnanuevo cracks Trash with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Trash takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Krishnanuevo's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
