Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Akamoah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antero Kuusivaara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuusivaara has chosen O Fortuna as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akamoah fails to land with a series of punches.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Akamoah is on top in guard.

Kuusivaara had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Akamoah is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kuusivaara Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Akamoah's back instead.

Kuusivaara has control of Akamoah's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Akamoah regains control of the situation pretty easily.
