Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arleo Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roland Deschain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Deschain's choice of entrance music: Giving In-- As made famous by Adema. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styles throws a head kick but Deschain moves out of range.

Deschain feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Deschain loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Styles is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Deschain is aware though and is defending well.
Deschain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Styles is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Deschain takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
