Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Starbuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Oliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Starbuck shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Oliver's guard.
Oliver wants to get back to his feet but Starbuck is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oliver is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Oliver enables Starbuck to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Oliver manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Starbuck changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Oliver tries to avoid it but Starbuck manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Oliver to the ground. Oliver escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Oliver doesn't manage to clinch there - Starbuck circles away.

Starbuck cracks Oliver with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Starbuck postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Oliver in real trouble here! The ref calls for Oliver to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
