The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues tries to clinch up
and Tuzzio counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tuzzio.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Tuzzio slips nicely into half guard.
Tuzzio decides to stand up.
Vince Tuzzio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rodrigues lands a body shot.
Rodrigues digs a good hook to Tuzzio's body.
Rodrigues gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Rodrigues can't keep his opponent in guard - Tuzzio advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rodrigues tries to kick Tuzzio off but Tuzzio keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Tuzzio maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Rodrigues could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Tuzzio has cracked it and Rodrigues is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Tuzzio!
