The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua lands with a right hand.
Boxlund takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Rua throws a hook but Boxlund avoids it easily.
Rua uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boxlund.
Rua swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rua lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boxlund circles away quickly and effectively.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Rua.
Rua throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Boxlund's head.
Boxlund scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Rua moves into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rua manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Oh Boxlund is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A nice glancing elbow lands by Rua.
Rua jerks Boxlund's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Boxlund drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Rua goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Rua because Boxlund was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
