Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Andy Crow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Sagat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andy Crow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jay Sagat!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crow tries to clinch but Sagat is having none of it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Crow looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Crow ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Crow swats away the attempt to clinch by Sagat.
Jay Sagat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crow throws a sloppy head kick and Sagat moves out of range easily.
Crow dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sagat throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sagat looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sagat tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Crow manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Crow.
Sagat has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


It looks like Jay Sagat has been cut.
Sagat paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sagat tries to close the distance and clinch but Crow swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crow tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Sagat manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sagat avoids the head kick by Crow.
Crow blocks a head kick by Sagat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Crow looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Crow smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Sagat wants to clinch up but Crow keeps it at a distance.
Sagat bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Crow circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sagat blocks a head kick by Crow.
Crow misses the shot to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sagat looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Sagat has Crow up against the ropes in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Crow wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Sagat breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Sagat instigates a clinch.

Sagat breaks from the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sagat pushes Crow up against the ropes in a clinch.

The crowd are getting on Sagat's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.
Sagat misses with a knee to the head.
Sagat tries to stall but Crow uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Sagat tries to land a knee to the head but Crow blocks with his arms.

Crow is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sagat is defending well for now.
Sagat keeps control of Crow as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A battle for position here, against the ropes.
Crow working hard to break the clinch.

Sagat breaks from the clinch.
Crow misses with a head kick.
Sagat wants to clinch.
Crow moves in looking to clinch but Sagat pushes him off.
Crow tries to clinch but Sagat moves out of range.
Crow tries to clinch up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sagat tries to clinch but Crow moves away
and Crow counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sagat tries to clinch but Crow is having none of it.
Crow tries to clinch up.

Sagat darts in and clinches Crow up against the ropes.
Sagat tries a knee to the head but Crow blocks it.
Sagat comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Sagat escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Sagat clinches with his opponent.
Crow is trying to break free.
Crow wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sagat throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Crow blocks it with crossed arms.
Crow wants to break the clinch but can't.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sagat using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Crow has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Crow has had enough of the clinch but Sagat keeps him there for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jay Sagat dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jay Sagat's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Sagat clinches up with Crow and pushes him back against the ropes.
Crow is trying to break free.
Crow has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Crow is trying to push Sagat away but Sagat has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
A shot in the inside from Sagat.
Sagat landing knees to the head.
Sagat tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Crow working aggressively here.
Sagat on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Sagat utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sagat creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Crow crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5, yes, he's made it back to his feet. He seems OK so it looks like we're going to continue!


Crow is rocked!

Sagat forces Crow back against the ropes and clinches.
Oh Crow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Sagat obliges.
Crow seems to have got his legs back now.
A left hand lands to the body for Sagat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Sagat breaks from the clinch.
Sagat is looking to clinch.
Crow walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! Crow is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Jay Sagat!
