The crowd seem to be enjoying Vieira's choice of entrance music: 2pac - Hail Mary. Fabio Vieira is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A jab-cross combination lands for Vieira and sends Paq crashing to the mat! Vieira follows him down to the mat - Paq regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Kevin Paq has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Paq is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Paq is looking to control Vieira's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Paq avoid being mounted?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vieira trying to control the action but Paq is working from the bottom.
Vieira blocks the strikes from Paq.
Paq is in trouble now - Vieira has advanced to mount!
Paq tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Vieira tries to control but Paq wriggling away.
Vieira wants to take Paq's back but he can't do it this time.

Vieira looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Vieira tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Paq knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vieira on the ground.

Paq is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Vieira locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Paq is forced to tap!
