Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonny Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, CJ Miller!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Miller gets tackled into the cage by Jones. Jones maintains the clinch.
Miller wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Miller gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Jones gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Jones throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Jones wants to free his trapped foot but Miller is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Jones throwing shots but Miller is blocking nicely.
Jones wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy.
Jones missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Jones throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jones connects with a nice short shot to Miller's temple.
Jones with the ground and pound but Miller uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Miller wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miller can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jones stands up from Miller's guard - Jones perhaps looking for a knockout.
Miller on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Miller dodges an elbow strike from Jones.

Jones is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Miller can't fight it off and eventually Jones manages to take the fight to the floor. Miller looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Miller sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Jonny Jones will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Jones tightens his grip and picks Miller up, before dumping him to the ground. Miller manages to land in guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Jones sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Miller's guard.
Jones thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Jones prevents Miller from standing back up.

Jonny Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

I would just about give that final round to CJ Miller.
