Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grisha Kameonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urethra Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kameonov comes to the cage accompanied by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus- False Pretense. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kameonov fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kameonov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kameonov blocks a head kick by Franklin.
Kameonov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Franklin is defended easily by Kameonov.
Franklin tries a head kick but it misses.
Kameonov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kameonov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kameonov wants it to stay on the feet.

Kameonov is breathing heavily.
Franklin throws a head kick but Kameonov moves out of range.
Kameonov moves to clinch but Franklin breaks away

and Franklin counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Franklin.

Franklin avoids the elbow strike from Kameonov, against the cage.
Franklin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kameonov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Franklin is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Kameonov is defending well.
Kameonov stops a takedown attempt from Franklin.

Franklin ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Franklin no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kameonov tries to free his leg and advance position but Franklin is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Franklin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kameonov's guard.

Kameonov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Franklin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Franklin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Franklin stays in close to Kameonov's body and controls the position.

Urethra Franklin has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Franklin lands with a right hand.
Franklin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Franklin stuffs the takedown.
Kameonov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Franklin defends it nicely.
Franklin thuds his right hand into Kameonov's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Franklin.
Franklin closes the distance and clinches up with Kameonov, looking for a takedown. Franklin pushes Kameonov against the cage but Kameonov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Franklin shoots in looking for a takedown but Kameonov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Franklin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Franklin tries for a takedown but Kameonov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kameonov moves into the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Kameonov just misses with a elbow thrown towards Franklin's brow.

Franklin has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kameonov uses from the top position.

Kameonov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kameonov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Kameonov trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Franklin manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Kameonov is working an open guard so Franklin takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Franklin shoots in for a double leg but Kameonov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Franklin looks for a takedown but Kameonov sprawls well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kameonov shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Kameonov maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Franklin could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Kameonov has cracked it and Franklin is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Kameonov!
