Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carl Burns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nameless One!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns misses with a head kick.
Burns rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but One moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Burns lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Burns.
Burns thows a left - swing and a miss!
Good leg kick by One there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Burns shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. One manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Burns slips nicely into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Burns stops One from getting back to his feet.
Burns missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
One keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
One is looking to improve his position.
One avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Burns.

One wants to improve his position but Burns is controlling well.
Burns throwing shots but One is blocking nicely.

Burns is trying to work for a kimura but One is defending well.

One is looking for a sweep. Burns is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Burns lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
One wants to improve his position but Burns is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burns working over One with some ground and pound. One looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
One manages to get to full guard.
Burns postures up in One's guard and throws a big left but One blocks it.
One avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

One preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Burns sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed One's guard.
One tries to roll over but Burns keeps him under control.
Burns works his way into full mount!
One avoids a series of strikes thrown by Burns.
Burns lands a heavy elbow.
One is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Burns looking to ground and pound but One is blocking nicely.
Burns wants to control the pace but One is squirming around nicely.

Burns breaks from One's wrist control and lands an elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Burns unloads with some shots from mount but One bucks and avoids them well.
Burns throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
One is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Burns has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
One takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Burns's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
