Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between PJ Benn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benn comes to the cage accompanied by System Of A Down - Chop Suey!. The crowd seem to be enjoying Liddell's choice of entrance music: DMX - Its dark and hell is hot. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, PJ Benn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quinton Liddell!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Benn shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Liddell is defending against the submission attempts here by Benn.
Benn wants to advance to full mount but Liddell doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Benn, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
