PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Paul Bostik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaddie Sedfenor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sedfenor has chosen graveyard symphony as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jaddie Sedfenor will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bostik thows a body shot but no joy.

Bostik fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sedfenor sprawls well initially but Bostik persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Sedfenor manages to get to full guard.
Bostik with a flurry of punches that miss.
Bostik is stalling in the full guard.
Sedfenor throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Sedfenor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bostik manages to get himself to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bostik fails in his attempt to clinch.

Bostik feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sedfenor is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bostik is aware though and is defending well.

Bostik gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Bostik tries to land a front kick but Sedfenor steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Bostik decides to stand back up. Bostik steps back and let's Sedfenor get back to his feet.
