Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Maldonado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathew Swoop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Mathew Swoop enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maldonado takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Maldonado is trying hard to land a takedown here. Swoop sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A nice leg kick lands there from Swoop.
Swoop drives through and clinches with Maldonado against the cage.

Maldonado has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Swoop is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Maldonado throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Swoop's waist but Swoop gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Maldonado off to one side.

The referee is keeping an eye on Swoop - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Maldonado has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Swoop is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Maldonado.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
