The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Uta feints and as Zimmerman raises his hands in defense, Uta changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Zimmerman wants to sweep here but Uta controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Uta works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Zimmerman is looking to escape.
Uta moves into full mount! Zimmerman won't be happy about that!
Uta tries to control but Zimmerman wriggling away.
Uta prevents Zimmerman from getting the reversal.

Zimmerman is squirming around, avoiding Uta's attempts to control the action.
Zimmerman wants to hold on but Uta pushes him away.

Uta wants to finish this one by submission but Zimmerman is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Uta.
Uta trying to control but Zimmerman is having none of it.

Uta might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Zimmerman kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Uta is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Zimmerman has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Zimmerman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Uta on the ground.

Uta has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Zimmerman is defending well but eventually Uta manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Zimmerman has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
