The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MANNERS fails with the takedown.
Rodman looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
MANNERS is looking to clinch.

MANNERS closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
MANNERS can't get the takedown.
MANNERS is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bill Rodman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DANIEL MANNERS.
A short body shot lands from Rodman as the two fighters clinch.

MANNERS breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
MANNERS shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rodman but Rodman pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rodman throws a right and a left that MANNERS avoids nicely.

MANNERS forces his way into half guard.
Oh Rodman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
MANNERS is trying to control the action in half guard but Rodman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

MANNERS is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Rodman seems to have got his legs back now.
MANNERS with shots to the head and body - Rodman looks very uncomfortable down there.
MANNERS landing strikes, looking to finish!
Rodman bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

MANNERS has momentary wrist control but Rodman slips an elbow through the middle.
MANNERS has a closed guard, preventing Rodman from standing up.
MANNERS controls Rodman momentarily but Rodman frees himself.

MANNERS pushes Rodman off and gets back to his feet.
MANNERS fails with a takedown attempt.

Rodman throws a right and a left that both miss.

Rodman forces MANNERS back against the cage and clinches.
MANNERS tries to pull guard but Rodman holds him up against the cage and eventually MANNERS drops back down to his feet.
Rodman wants to get back to striking at distance but MANNERS won't allow it.

MANNERS breaks the clinch.
No joy there for Rodman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

MANNERS softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Rodman throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and MANNERS counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rodman scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Rodman tries to bum rush MANNERS with a series of wild strikes but MANNERS uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
MANNERS throws a series of punches but Rodman avoids them all with ease.
Rodman tries to clinch but MANNERS is having none of it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from MANNERS.
MANNERS shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rodman as he jumps to the side.
MANNERS drops Rodman with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Rodman! MANNERS dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
