Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Othella shoots and misses
and Gump counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Othella throws a right and a left that both miss.
Othella throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gump's waist but Gump gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Othella off to one side.
Othella gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gump misses with a straight right.
A combination from Gump does no damage.
Othella is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gump.
Othella gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gump counters with a stiff right hand.
Fowwest Gump has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xamos Othella.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Othella gets tackled into the ropes by Gump. Gump maintains the clinch.

Othella is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Gump has Othella pressed against the ropes, preventing Othella from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Gump doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Gump escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gump missing with a left hand there. Othella was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Othella doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Gump counters with a straight right hand.
Fowwest Gump is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Othella fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Gump clinches up with Othella and pushes him back against the ropes.
Othella is trying desperately to land a takedown but Gump is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Othella.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Gump.
Gump makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Gump lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Othella or not.
Othella is trying to force a seperation but Gump has the dominant position.

Gump's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gump tries to bum rush Othella with a series of wild strikes but Othella uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gump misses with a looping right.

Othella keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Nice uppercut there from Gump.

No joy there for Gump, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Othella throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gump has taken the fight to the clinch.

Gump has a couple of punches blocked by Othella.

A right handed body shot lands from Gump.
Gump stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gump lands an uppercut.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Othella changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gump fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gump fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Othella has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Othella moves out of range of the leg kick from Gump.
Gump tries to clinch there but Othella circles away.
Gump uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Othella.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like Xamos Othella has been cut.
Gump is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Othella is defending well for now.
Gump goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Gump scores with a shot to the side of Othella's head.
Gump lands an uppercut.
Othella is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
Gump unloads a knee to the mid-section. Othella lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Gump misses with a shot to the kidneys.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Gump creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Gump is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Othella can do to turn this around?

Gump would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Gump wants to get up but he can't break Othella's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Othella drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gump dives on top into guard.
