The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sully explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Sully's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Sully throws a series of punches but Bone avoids them all with ease.
Sully looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bone shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sully as he avoids it easily.
Bone pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bone tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Sully manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Alexian Bone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sully bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sully tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Sully stands up and beckons Bone to his feet.
Bone sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Bone has eaten all the pies!

Bone chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sully can pounce on him.

That was a close round but I would say that Bach Sully will probably get the nod.
That's time! Sully's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bone motions for Sully to come forward. Bone throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bone on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sully lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Bone tries to clinch up but Sully circles away and keeps his distance.

Sully throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bone was covering up waiting for the punch and Sully finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bone throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sully escapes and throws Bone's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bone is trying to control Sully's posture but Sully avoids it.
Bone is looking to reverse the position.

Bone is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.

Bone tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sully sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bone somewhat.

Sully throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The crowd cheers as Sully lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bone doesn't seem phased though.
Sully dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Sully closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sully lands in his opponent's guard.

Sully throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sully, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
