Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trip Kenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matthew Cannon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Matthew Cannon!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Cannon counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Kenzie looks for a takedown but Cannon sprawls well.
A punch lands to the side of Kenzie 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Kenzie is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Cannon ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Cannon connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kenzie momentarily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cannon lands with an uppercut that bounces Kenzie off the cage and back into range.

Cannon cracks Kenzie with an uppercut from hell and Kenzie crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Cannon's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Cannon slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Kenzie wants to stand up but Cannon is controlling him.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Matthew Cannon wasn't active enough on the ground.
Kenzie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cannon.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cannon lands a nice hook to Kenzie's body. Kenzie takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kenzie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cannon feints a jab promting Kenzie to slip. Cannon then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kenzie slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Cannon keeps the fight on the outside.

Cannon lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kenzie at a distance.
Kenzie walks into a stiff left hand from Cannon.
Cannon jabs Kenzie right on the nose. Kenzie blinks but takes it well.
Trip Kenzie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cannon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Trip Kenzie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kenzie takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Kenzie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cannon tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Matthew Cannon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Kenzie dives in and grabs Cannon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cannon pushes down on Kenzie's head and hops out.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Kenzie. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Kenzie takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Cannon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kenzie's head backwards.
Kenzie wants to clinch up but Cannon keeps it at a distance.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kenzie tries to move into range but Cannon moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
