Saito getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Saito misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Asas.
Saito moves out of range as Asas throws a body kick.
Saito scores with a jab to the body.
Saito swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Asas stuffs the takedown attempt from Saito. Saito gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd cheers as Saito lands an impressive looking overhand right. Asas doesn't seem phased though.
Asas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Saito.
The fighters circling - Asas throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Asas moves out of range of the strikes.
Asas closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Saito quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Saito moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Saito has Asas pulled in close to control his posture.

Asas throws a big elbow that misses.
Saito preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Asas trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Asas trying to control the position from guard on top but Saito is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Saito is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Asas throws a big elbow that misses.
Asas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Saito has his feet on Asas's thighs here. He's pushed Asas off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Asas screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
