The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aaltonen steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Gunjoo. That one must have hurt.

Aaltonen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gunjoo tries to avoid it but Aaltonen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gunjoo to the ground. Gunjoo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Moon Gunjoo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ari Aaltonen.

Aaltonen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gunjoo defends it well.
