Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Helix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leroy Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Leroy Morris was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris throws a shot from downtown. Helix moves away and avoids it.
Morris looks to throw the jab but Helix is out of range.
Morris swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Helix counters with a low kick, right behind Morris 's knee.
A shot to the liver by Helix. Beautiful body shot.

Helix gets caught flat footed, as Morris shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Helix is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Morris is aware though and is defending well.
Morris slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Morris is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Helix knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Helix is letting Morris control him for a moment.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Morris is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Helix has escaped the position, nice work there.

Helix is looking to regain half guard here but Morris keeps moving and retains side control.
Helix is trying to control Morris's posture but Morris avoids it.
Morris wants to control but Helix is keeping him busy.
Morris staying calm.

Morris has hold of Helix's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Helix tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Morris cranks the arm and Helix screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Helix, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
