Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Igor Kozlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Kozlov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thiago Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kozlov misses with a looping left.
Sanchez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sanchez walks into a stiff left hand from Kozlov.
Kozlov takes a swing at Sanchez's ribcage but misses.
Sanchez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kozlov.
Kozlov scores with a sloppy right hand. Sanchez should have avoided that one.

Sanchez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kozlov napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Sanchez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kozlov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kozlov is trying to get back to half guard.

Sanchez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Sanchez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kozlov knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Sanchez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sanchez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kozlov manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kozlov gets back to full guard.

Sanchez stands and steps away. Kozlov gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Sanchez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Igor Kozlov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sanchez looks gassed!
Kozlov pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kozlov tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Sanchez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Kozlov gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kozlov blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kozlov tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sanchez's elbow.
Kozlov can't find room to land a body shot as Sanchez controls the action.
Sanchez has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kozlov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Sanchez tries to pull guard but Kozlov holds him up against the cage and eventually Sanchez drops back down to his feet.
Igor Kozlov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago Sanchez.
Kozlov gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sanchez.
Kozlov is working Sanchez over against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kozlov lands a left hand.
Kozlov stops a takedown attempt from Sanchez.
Kozlov scores with a shoulder strike.
Kozlov tries to throw a body punch but Sanchez avoids it by throwing Kozlov back against the cage.
Kozlov lands an uppercut.
Kozlov lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Sanchez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Nice body punch from Kozlov - that landed with a thud.
Sanchez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kozlov lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Sanchez tries to pull guard but Kozlov forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Kozlov is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Sanchez wants to stall.
Sanchez tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kozlov just stands there and leans against the cage.
Kozlov tries a body shot but Sanchez blocks it.
Sanchez is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Kozlov struggles to land a body shot inside as Sanchez controls his hands.
Kozlov lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kozlov works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Kozlov lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Sanchez or not.
Kozlov keeps control of Sanchez as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Kozlov tries to stall but Sanchez uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Sanchez's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A quick uppercut on the inside from Kozlov.
Kozlov lands a hook to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sanchez is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Kozlov is defending well.
Kozlov stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Still in the clinch, Kozlov scores with a nice short uppercut.
Sanchez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kozlov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Kozlov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sanchez backwards.
Kozlov lands with a short shot to the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kozlov is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Kozlov lands a shoulder strike.
Kozlov lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sanchez backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Igor Kozlov dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Kozlov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Good exchange - Kozlov coming out on top.


Sanchez is rocked!
Kozlov tries to clinch there but Sanchez circles away.
Sanchez is still on wobbly legs! Can Kozlov finish him?
Kozlov dips to his left and cracks Sanchez with an uppercut!
Kozlov cracks Sanchez with a hook to the temple - Sanchez is on wobbly legs here! Kozlov swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Sanchez falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Kozlov wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Igor Kozlov!
Igor Kozlov decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
