Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Lowto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lowto has chosen Stir it Up as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lowto moves into the clinch.

Jackson misses with a series of wild punches.

Lowto tries a knee to the head but Jackson blocks it.
Jackson is trying to force a seperation but Lowto has the dominant position.

Lowto has picked Jackson up - he's going for a ride! Lowto dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Jackson moves into full guard.
Lowto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lowto wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
Lowto trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Jackson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Jackson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lowto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lowto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Jackson pulls Lowto in close to prevent any damage.

Lowto has Jackson pressed against the cage, preventing Jackson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Lowto tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Jackson avoids it.
Lowto has had enough of the clinch but Jackson keeps him there for the moment.
Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lowto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lowto has closed the distance and engaged Jackson in a clinch.
Lowto is trying to break the clinch but Jackson is controlling him.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Kenny Lowto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lowto avoids it really well and circles away.
Jackson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jackson.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lowto has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jackson is proving hard to escape from.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jackson pulls Lowto in to control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Tyler Jackson just wasn't active enough.

Jackson jumps guard but Lowto turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lowto is looking to control Jackson's arms but Jackson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lowto has his back to the cage.

Jackson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lowto uses from the top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson stands up from Lowto's guard - Jackson perhaps looking for a knockout.
Lowto is breathing heavily.
Lowto stuffs the takedown attempt from Jackson. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet.

Jackson dives in and grabs Lowto's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lowto pushes down on Jackson's head and hops out.

Jackson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lowto, pushing him back against the cage.

Lowto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lowto has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.
Lowto must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Lowto wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lowto accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Lowto wanted to stand there but Jackson had control of the position.

Lowto drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jackson dives on top into guard.
Jackson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tyler Jackson will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Lowto takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Jackson stays in close to Lowto's body and controls the position.

Jackson drops back looking for a leg! Lowto is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lowto manages to kick Jackson off! Jackson jumps back into Lowto's guard.

Jackson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Lowto throws an elbow but it misses.

Jackson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Jackson lands a shoulder strike.
Jackson avoiding damage as Lowto throws knees to the body.
Lowto wants to break the clinch but can't.

Lowto has clasped his hands together around Jackson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
You can see the frustration on Jackson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Lowto swings around for an armbar but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lowto's guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Kenny Lowto.
I think Lowto has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Kenny Lowto rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
