Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Evan Sheilds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masaki Sumitani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masaki Sumitani will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masaki Sumitani!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sumitani keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sumitani pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sheilds looks to score with a jab to the body but Sumitani is just out of range.
Sumitani throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Sumitani lands with a thumping leg kick.
A jab from Sheilds finds it's way through Sumitani's defenses.
Sheilds misses with a kick to the body.

Sumitani scores with a push kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sumitani drops Sheilds with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sheilds looks back up at him and smiles so Sumitani waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Sheilds is rocked!

It looks like Evan Sheilds has been cut.
Sumitani fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Oh Sheilds is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sheilds is breathing heavily.
Sumitani scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Sheilds seems to have got his legs back now.
Nice body punch from Sumitani.
A solid leg kick lands there for Sumitani.
Sheilds bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Sumitani comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Sheilds falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Sheilds was out before he hit the floor!
