Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hank Venture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Diesal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hank Venture had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Chuck Diesal will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diesal misses with a body shot.
Diesal rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Venture moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Venture throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Venture drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Hank Venture has been cut.
Venture tries to clinch there but Diesal circles away.
Diesal throws a series of punches but Venture moves out of range.
Venture misses the jab.
Diesal throws a quick inside leg kick.
Diesal bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Venture's head backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Diesal doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Venture seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Diesal moves forwards but Venture connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Diesal stalks Venture and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Venture's face. Venture staggers backwards, shaken.
Diesal misses with a wild combination.
Venture misses the jab.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Venture will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
