Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kingi Pitiroi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Head is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Gates of Love. Richard Head has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kingi Pitiroi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Richard Head!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitiroi thuds his shin into the meat of Head's side.
Pitiroi throws a sloppy head kick and Head moves out of range easily.

Head drives through and clinches with Pitiroi against the cage.
Pitiroi wants to get back to striking at distance but Head won't allow it.
A short right from Head.
Pitiroi dodges an elbow strike from Head.
A frustrated look appears on Pitiroi's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Pitiroi takes a shot to the head.

Head jumps into guard, dragging Pitiroi to the mat.
Head bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pitiroi's guard.
Head throwing strikes but missing.
Head works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Head is pressing down on Pitiroi's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pitiroi is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Head is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Head thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Head is nestled in close to Pitiroi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

It looks like Kingi Pitiroi has been cut.
Head has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Head passes to full mount!
Head is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Pitiroi goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Head!
