Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paniikki shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McCann sprawls well. McCann wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Paniikki gets slowly back to his feet.
Paniikki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McCann is fending him off so far but Paniikki persists. Nope, McCann circles away and we're back to standing.
McCann scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
McCann ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Paniikki moves away.
McCann lands with a thumping leg kick.
Paniikki tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McCann swivels and escapes.
Paul McCann has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pelle Paniikki.
McCann slaps away a takedown attempt from Paniikki, before circling back to the center of the mat.
McCann instigates a clinch.
McCann digs a right hand into Paniikki's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Paniikki's gas tank.
Paniikki tries to pull guard but McCann won't allow it.
McCann lands a body shot in the clinch.

Paniikki is trying to pull guard but McCann has him pressed against the cage.
McCann content to slow the pace in the clinch.

McCann lands an uppercut.
Paniikki tries to pull guard but McCann won't allow it.

McCann lands with a right to the head.
Paniikki prevents a body shot from McCann.

McCann gets through Paniikki's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Paniikki tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McCann smiles and moves away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Paniikki is defended easily by McCann.

and McCann counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Paniikki closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Paniikki is still on wobbly legs! Can McCann finish him?
McCann lands a nice leg kick that just misses Paniikki's sensitive parts.
Paniikki tries to get into range but McCann steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Paniikki! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! McCann scores the big KO victory!
