The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shonuck clinches up with Wiggins and pushes him back against the cage.

Wiggins pulls guard.
Shonuck keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wiggins's head.
Shonuck trying to stand up but can't free himself from Wiggins's guard.
Wiggins keeping moving, preventing Shonuck from controlling successfully.
Wiggins is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Shonuck is controlling him.

Wiggins not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Shonuck wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Wiggins is now in half guard.

Wiggins not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Wiggins looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Shonuck with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Wiggins wants to stand but Shonuck has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Wiggins is nestled in close to Shonuck, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Shonuck is looking to control Wiggins's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Shonuck avoid being mounted?
Shonuck is breathing heavily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

It looks like Wiggins is going to stand back up.
Wiggins winds up and cracks Shonuck with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Wiggins is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Horrible takedown by Shonuck or perhaps it was just good defense by Wiggins which made him look bad.

Shonuck tries to clinch but Wiggins is having none of it.

Shonuck looks for a takedown but Wiggins sprawls well.
Wiggins throws a nice inside leg kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wiggins throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
A thudding body kick lands there by Wiggins!
Wiggins feints and then cracks Shonuck's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shonuck down.
Wiggins thows a body kick. Shonuck tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Wiggins gets a clinch.

Wiggins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wiggins's corner calls for a 1-2. Wiggins obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Wiggins has closed the distance and engaged Shonuck in a clinch.

Wiggins has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Shonuck clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wiggins scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Shonuck is looking for a way out.

Wiggins has managed to slip his arm under Shonuck's chin. This could be all over... yep, Shonuck is tapping out! Submission win for Wiggins.
