The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Donnelly misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
O Donnelly shoots in looking for a takedown but Diaz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing O Donnelly's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
O Donnelly shoots in for a double leg but Diaz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ralph Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny O Donnelly.
Diaz throws a series of punches but O Donnelly moves out of range.
O Donnelly lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diaz circles away quickly and effectively.

Diaz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but O Donnelly manages to avoid it.

O Donnelly sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Diaz throws a nice looking combination but O Donnelly bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
O Donnelly has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Diaz.

O Donnelly uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Diaz.

O Donnelly shoots for a takedown but Diaz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A slapping body kick lands there for Diaz.
Diaz lands a jab to O Donnelly's midsection.
Diaz lands with a cross.
O Donnelly takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

O Donnelly is rocked!
Diaz cracks O Donnelly's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! O Donnelly slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Diaz can do further damage! This one is done, son!
