Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kwan Gyo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges Lamont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gyo comes to the cage accompanied by Liquor Store Blues Bruno Mars ft. Damian Marley. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kwan Gyo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Georges Lamont!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gyo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kwan Gyo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gyo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A solid leg kick lands there for Gyo.
Gyo lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lamont.
Gyo scores with a head kick.
Lamont throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gyo's waist but Gyo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lamont off to one side.
A head kick by Gyo misses

so Lamont counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gyo is looking to stand up but Lamont isn't so interested in that idea.
Lamont really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gyo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lamontis looking to pass into half guard but Gyo pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Gyo is in guard.
Lamont tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gyo postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Gyo content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Lamont is looking to sweep but instead, Gyo has passed into half guard.
Gyo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lamont wants to get back to full guard but Gyo has mounted him!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lamont is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Lamont slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Lamont looks gassed!
Lamont tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Gyo has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Gyo scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Lamont?
Gyo landing strikes from the mount and Lamont is in trouble!
Gyo lands a nice shot to the head.

Lamont tries to improve his position but Gyo has taken his back! Gyo has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Lamont tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Gyo pushes Lamont away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kwan Gyo!
Kwan Gyo decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
