Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between George Oven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiyoshi Tamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tamura has chosen Teriyaki boyz - Tokyo drift as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, George Oven!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kiyoshi Tamura!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tamura tries to clinch up but Oven circles away and keeps his distance.
Oven throws a jab but it's blocked by Tamura.
Tamura with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Oven to score with a decent uppercut.


It looks like Kiyoshi Tamura has been cut.
Tamura throws the left hand but Oven avoids the punch easily.
Tamura is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tamura misses with a wild body shot.
Tamura tries to clinch
and Oven counters with a nice leg kick.
Oven misses with a jab, cross combination.
A shot to the liver by Oven. Beautiful body shot.
Oven throws the left hand but Tamura avoids the punch easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tamura. Oven does a little dance to reset his feet.

Oven looks to land a left hand but Tamura moved out of range nicely.

and Oven counters with a three punch combo that has Tamura backing up. Tamura nods at Oven to acknowledge the strikes.
A chopping leg kick lands by Oven.
Tamura tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Oven paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tamura misses with an uppercut
and Oven makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Oven throws out a loose jab but Tamura uses good head movement to avoid it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Oven.
Tamura fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Oven looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oven takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Oven throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Oven throws a series of punches but Tamura avoids them all with ease.
Oven throws a jab when Tamura was well out of range.
Tamura slips under a jab.
Tamura ducks under a wild hook from Oven.
Oven throws a nice looking combination but Tamura bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Some bone on bone action there as Tamura checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Oven lands a body shot.
Oven misses with a body shot.

Oven lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Oven throws a hook but Tamura blocks it.
Oven uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Tamura slips a straight right by Oven.
Oven feints and then cracks Tamura's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tamura down.
Oven misses with a body shot.
Oven throws a jab when Tamura was well out of range.
Tamura uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Oven.
Oven scores with a punch to the head.

Oven throws a right hand that Tamura ducks under and follows up with a left that Tamura also avoids with ease.
Oven walks into a stiff left hand from Tamura.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Oven cracks Tamura with a good jab.
Oven loads up on a big right hand but Tamura slips the punch.
Oven lands a glancing blow to the side of Tamura's head.
Oven looks to land a left hand but Tamura moved out of range nicely.
George Oven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oven misses with a two punch combination.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Oven lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tamura circles away quickly and effectively.
Tamura blocks a low kick nicely.
Oven walks into a left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Tamura tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Oven was well out of range. Poor timing from Tamura.
Oven swings for the body but Tamura moves out of range.
Tamura tries to clinch up but Oven circles away and keeps his distance.
An inside leg kick from Oven misses.
Oven misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tamura thows a body shot but no joy.
Tamura tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Oven manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Oven tests Tamura's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Tamura works the jab nicely.

Oven missing with a left hand there. Tamura was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tamura tries to clinch but Oven moves out of range.
Tamura avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Oven. Tamura does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tamura misses with a wild combination.
Oven chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Oven keeps the fight on the outside.
Oven scores with a hook.


That has opened up Kiyoshi Tamura's cut even more.

Oven falls off balance throwing a combination
letting Tamura counter with a right hand.
Tamura walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Tamura walks into a left hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A looping hook to the body misses from Tamura. Oven does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tamura throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oven lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A chopping leg kick lands by Oven.
Oven moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
George Oven is winning the standup battle so far.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Donk. Tamura catches Oven right on the button with a cross.
Oven scores with a nice right hand.
Tamura scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A nice inside leg kick there by Oven. That's going to slow Tamura down.
Oven scores with a hook to the body. Tamura takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Oven digs a good hook to Tamura's body.
Tamura is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Oven cracks a nice hook into Tamura's ribs.

Tamura tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Oven with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Tamura tries to move into range but Oven moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.


The cut above Kiyoshi Tamura's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Oven swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Tamura.
Oven misses with a left hand
and Tamura counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Good standup being displayed there by Oven as he connects with a hook.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Tamura might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Oven has got the better of the exchanges.
Oven thumps Tamura with a low kick.

Oven drops Tamura with a beautiful combination! Tamura stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Oven is looking for the KO!


Tamura is rocked!


Kiyoshi Tamura's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Oven circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Tamura to the canvas! Tamura doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Oven keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Oven!
