PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tarmo Tiili (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dr Alban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alban is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Run This Town. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tarmo Tiili!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dr Alban!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tiili, right into the meat.
Tiili slaps away a takedown attempt from Alban, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Tiili goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Dr Alban has been cut.
Tiili uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Alban shoots in for a double leg but Tiili sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A punch lands to the side of Alban 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Tiili lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Alban at a distance.
Tiili changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Alban looks gassed!
Tiili throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Tiili scoring well with a low kick there.
Tiili scores with a leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A decent looking cross lands there for Tiili.
Tiili bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Alban's head backwards.
Tiili pushes Alban away with a front kick.
Tiili fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tiili moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Tiili throws a nice inside leg kick.
A jab from Tiili finds it's way through Alban's defenses.

Tiili feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Alban sprawling to the canvas! Alban rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tiili finish him?!

Alban is rocked!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Tiili throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Alban is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
